Aerial St. Pete: Downtown St. Petersburg's tallest residential developments are reshaping the skyline

This month’s edition of Aerial St. Pete shows the progress on several real estate developments throughout St. Petersburg, FL. In this article we are taking a look at Art House, Ascent St. Petersburg, Evo, Modera St. Petersburg, The Residences at 400 Central, and Saltaire.

Each of these developments is a residential tower project that is helping reshape the downtown St. Petersburg skyline. They are all above 20 stories tall and are in various stages of construction – some of the towers are nearing completion while others are just beginning to rise.

23-story apartment tower Evo set to welcome downtown St. Pete renters

Evo, a 23-story, 220-unit apartment tower under construction at 334 2nd Avenue South, has progressed into the preleasing stage.

Miami-based developer American Land Ventures proposed the project in 2016. It replaces a property, since demolished, that housed the controversial Onyx nightclub.

American Land Ventures says Evo is on track to open in early 2023. It broke ground in March 2021 and topped out at 250 feet earlier this year. Coastal Construction is the project’s general contractor.

In this article we are taking a look at six projects that are expected to transform the downtown St. Pete skyline. These projects include: Ascent St. Petersburg, The EDGE Collective, Evo, Modera St. Petersburg, Reflection, and the Residences at 400 Central. Some of these projects will wrap up early next year while others will remain under construction for years to come.

The latest edition of Aerial St. Pete shows the progress on several downtown high-rise developments. Aerial St. Pete is a column by St. Pete Rising which features exclusive aerial photography of projects under construction in St. Petersburg, FL. To accomplish this, we have teamed up with Anthony Bove at AB3 Visuals.

In this article we are taking a look at five projects in downtown St. Pete which are in various stages of construction. Some are in the site clearing stage while other are topped out and closer to completion. These projects include: Evo, Ascent St. Petersburg, Modera St. Petersburg, Reflection, Saltaire.
