The Blend Coffee & Wine opens third location on 34th Street North

The Blend Coffee & Wine has opened its third location at 2760 34th Street North, which was previously home to a stand-alone Jimmy Johns. This will be the first location to feature a drive-thru, along with indoor seating. Jessica Dwyer of Klace & Company Real Estate represented The Blend in the deal.
The Blend’s other two outposts are located at 1211 4th Street North and 490 1st Avenue South inside the Tampa Bay Times building.
When you step foot inside The Blend’s new location on 34th STreet, it’s hard to believe the space used to be home to jimmy johns.
The indoor seating area at the new 1,860 square foot coffee shop will bring the same vibe and style to North St. Pete that the other two Blend locations have offered in downtown St. Pete since 2019.
“I want my customers to be able to shut out the world and escape – The goal behind creating The Blend is to inspire the community ” says owner Stacha Madsen.
There is also seating available on the outdoor patio to enjoy those beautiful sunny days with Madsen’s own blend of coffee. Her “blend” of coffee beans are from Nicaragua, Peru, and Brazil that Madsen developed years ago in Seattle.
Along with the standard coffee menu offerings, such as shots of espresso, lattes, and cold brew, this location will also serve the popular ‘white espresso’, where the beans are lightly roasted at a lower-than-normal temperature resulting in a different flavor profile and a higher caffeine content than a normal cup of black coffee.
Madsen says that the St. Pete community has been awesome, and she wanted to find a way to give back to her customers. “With the support I’ve received at the first two locations, I wanted to branch out so that residents can still support local businesses without having to travel downtown.”
The Blend’s newest location on 34th Street North features a beautifully designed indoor seating area that’s perfect for a quick visit or plugging in and getting some work done.
Madsen also carries baked products from other local businesses that will be featured on the Blend’s menu, which include Katie’s Fine Cookies, Mana Bakery, Bella’s Bagels, and Violet’s Vegans.
Beer, wine, wine inspired cocktails and shareable bites will be coming very soon.
Madsen and her staff are ready to brighten up your early morning commute with a fresh cup of coffee and couldn’t be more thrilled to bring their small local business to a different part of St. Pete.
