St. Petersburg City Council voted to approve revised plans for a mixed-use development planned for St. Pete’s EDGE District. 

Orange Station was announced by Edge Central Development Partners in late 2019 in a request for proposal (RFP) process spearheaded by the City of St. Petersburg.

The project is a joint venture of J Square Developers, DDA Development, and Backstreets Capital, LLC, who have previously worked on other St. Petersburg developments like The Salvador, St. James Townhomes, and The Nolen

The team behind Orange Station, a mixed-use development planned for downtown St. Pete’s EDGE District, has announced major changes to the project which includes increasing the amount of office space, adding a boutique hotel, and removing the development’s luxury condominiums.

Sales launch for The Residences at Orange Station in downtown St. Pete

Five months after demolition commenced, the former St. Pete Police Department headquarters is now completely razed paving the way for a new mixed-use project in downtown St. Pete – Orange Station at the EDGE.

The project will feature five buildings containing 50,000 square feet of Class A office space, 14,000 square feet of ground-level retail, and over 100 residential units. A 600-space parking garage will also be included with 400 of those spaces open to the public.

A 16-story tower facing Central Avenue will house 61 modern condominiums named The Residences at Orange Station. Additionally, a 42-unit workforce apartment building named The WYE will be situated off 1st Avenue North.

New renderings released for The Residences at Orange Station in St. Pete’s EDGE District

New details have been revealed for a highly anticipated mixed-use project at 1300 1st Avenue North, the site of the former St Pete Police Department headquarters, in St. Pete’s EDGE District.

The project features an ambitious but thoughtfully designed blend of office, retail, and residential. The residential components include a 42-unit workforce apartment building named The WYE, paying homage to the triangular junction often found in railroads, and a 61-unit luxury condominium building named The Residences at Orange Station.
