Sundial Releases Tenant Lineup

Last week Sundial released its tenant lineup and announced it was 90% leased.   I've given the store lineup a few days to sink in and I must say that while I'm not taken aback by the stores, I am impressed. In today's retail market it takes a lot for a brand to risk opening a store, let alone in a previously failed downtown retail center

While there isn't a famed J.Crew or an Apple store, what we got is a very diverse mix of national and local retailers, which I think is great.

The idea for Sundial was to create a shopping destination in Downtown St.Pete and The Edwards Group's lineup will accomplish just that. The lineup is so diverse that there's a little of everything, from men's beauty to women's fashion, athletic wear to swim wear, and jewelry to home decor. While there may not be many eye-opening "WOW" stores, the lineup serves its intended purpose.

According to the Tampa Bay Times there is still one retail and one restaurant space left and stores (other than Diamonds Direct) will begin opening in two weeks. Each of the announced tenants are locked into long term leases of at least five years which gives optimism for Sundial's long term success. I'm excited for what Sundial will bring to St.Pete. I hope it is successful and I hope this attracts more national retailers to Downtown St.Pete.
