Three food concepts to debut at the upscale EDGE Eatery in downtown St. Pete
The EDGE Eatery, a restaurant concept featuring three food counters, is set to open the first week of December at 1572 Central Avenue in the EDGE District. The new restaurant will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the former Pinot’s Palette located on the ground level of the Fusion 1560 Apartments. The 3,000 square foot space will also offer a lounge that will serve as a place to relax or get some work done.
The EDGE Eatery’s three food counters will offer Asian, Italian, and Latin cuisine. St. Pete locals may recognize some of the operators as they were among the most popular food spots at the EDGE Collective Urban Market Place located a few blocks away at 1234 Central Avenue.
The owner of the popular food truck Shiso Crispy will be opening Shiso Dumplings at The EDGE Eatery. The dumpling house will offer made-to-order gyoza, shumai, and mandu. Owner Ronicca Whaley’s Shiso Crispy was recently voted the number one food truck in Tampa Bay at the 2021 Best of the Best Awards presented by The Tampa Bay Times.
Carne D’Vino Gourmet Pizza and Deli will be offering individual 12” pizzas and Italian sandwiches. The specialty pizzas can be customized with a wide array of toppings. Carne D’vino’s menu takes the standard pizza to the next level with their one-of-a-kind charcuterie pizza.
The third concept at The EDGE Eatery will be The Cuban, a restaurant specializing in Latin sandwiches. The Cuban, which is owned and operated by Sazon Bites, will offer various interpretations of the Cuban sandwich. The owner’s goal is to have the largest and best Cuban sandwich in Tampa Bay.
The EDGE Eatery is a concept from 305 Hospitality Group founded by Kerly Tinajero and Robert Rivera with partner Adrian Lazaga. Rivera emphasizes the real story behind this new concept.
“The EDGE Collective Market Place is a small business incubator. And these three food concepts are proof of its success. They’ve all been able to grow to get their own space in The EDGE Eatery.”
The lounge inside The EDGE Eatery will seat between 30 to 40 people and will feature a full-service liquor bar. During the week, the lounge creates space for customers who need to get work done or are just looking for a nice place to relax. On Sundays, the lounge will host a dim sum brunch. The space can also be reserved for private events as well.
