Following the news of Domus Urbana’s sellout, NJR Companies has announced their next condo project: Castille Urbana.

On Tuesday, St Pete Rising exclusively reported that Domus Urbana, a 40-unit condominium development coming to 3rd Avenue South, has officially sold out. The five-story building launched sales last August and broke ground in early 2021.

“We like everything about the St. Petersburg market,” said Neil J. Rauenhorst, President and CEO of NJR Companies. “Downtown St. Pete is very walkable and extremely well laid out. For years, we’ve had parks, the water, and Beach Drive. Now you have the spine of Central Avenue which is populated with very nice shops, res­taurants, bars, and entertainment venues.”

Castille Urbana will be built 150 feet to the east of Domus Urbana, which is currently under construction.

Sales of Domus Urbana went so well that NJR Companies has decided to replicate the process with Castille Urbana at 600 3rd Avenue South, just 150 feet to the east of Domus Urbana. Castille Urbana will follow the same concept of offering a luxury condo living experience without the high price points.

The 5-floor development will feature 40 residences with two- and three-bedroom floorplan options, ranging from 1,158 to 1,650 square feet. Future residents can expect modern design and elegantly appointed living spaces, as well as lifestyle amenities like a community room, fitness center, dog park, and electric car charging stations.

Pricing for Castille Urbana, which is already 35% reserved, is starting from the mid-$500,000s. For comparison, other luxury developments, such as Saltaire, 400 Central, and The Bismarck, launched sales this year with units priced from the $800,000s.

Castille Urbana is expected to break ground in the summer of 2022, just after Domus Urbana has completed construction.
